They are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of their guests, team members, and neighborhoods alike. Their values emphasize a family atmosphere where collaboration and support thrive, making it an ideal workplace for those looking to grow professionally and personally within a friendly and nurturing environment.
Operating multiple locations under the Applebee's brand, known affectionately as Legacy Apple, Thrive Restaurant Group has cultivated a reputation as a true community partner. Applebee's restaurants are recognized as neighborhood hubs, places where families and friends come together in a warm, welcoming setting. Beyond serving meals, Thrive actively engages with local communities, contributing over 5 million dollars to various causes such as saving school proms and supporting children battling cancer. Their guiding principle of "Be a Good Neighbor" reflects their deep commitment to social responsibility and community service.
The open Host position at Thrive Restaurant Group represents a fantastic opportunity for candidates eager to join a vibrant team and develop leadership, hospitality, and business skills. This role is essential to the guest experience, as hosts are the first and last point of contact for customers entering or leaving the restaurant. Successful hosts greet guests with enthusiasm and warmth, ensuring a seamless flow within the restaurant and making every visit a memorable one. You will assist guests to their tables, accommodate special seating requests, manage waitlists efficiently during busy periods, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
Candidates for the host role will thrive if they have a sincere desire to care for others, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. The role requires physical mobility throughout the shift, including carrying items like high chairs and routinely cleaning tables and seating areas to uphold the restaurant’s high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Thrive Restaurant Group promotes an inclusive workplace and makes reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
Employed on a tip credit minimum wage basis plus tips, hosts at Thrive Restaurant Group enjoy a lively work environment where every day brings opportunities to connect with people and grow. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn, Thrive welcomes you to become a part of their family-oriented team dedicated to making guests feel welcome and valued every time they visit.
