Job Description

Invited is a premier company in the hospitality and service industry with a rich history dating back to 1957. As the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, Invited manages over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs, offering its members a luxurious and comprehensive experience. These clubs feature first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and fitness centers among many others, reflecting Invited's commitment to excellence and superior service. The company's culture is founded on building meaningful relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and its workforce of over 17,000 employees. By joining Invited, employees become part of an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic team environment where each member contributes to achieving the company's vision and success.

The role of Host within Invited is a critical position responsible for being the first and last point of contact for members and guests, setting the tone for their entire club experience. The Host warmly greets and seats members and guests while ensuring a smooth and memorable start and conclusion to their visit. This position requires maintaining Invited's exceptional service standards through the 3-steps of service framework, which is designed to provide outstanding hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. Hosts are expected to keep the host area organized, assist with member service duties, and support the food and beverage team as needed. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director, the Host acts as a professional representative of the club’s values and hospitality standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting members and guests by name and providing attentive seating arrangements that adhere to service excellence. Communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to remain calm under pressure while conversing politely and professionally. The Host must keep the host podium organized, complete daily tasks such as stocking supplies and sanitizing areas, and offer assistance to service staff to uphold service quality. Immediate attention and service recovery are required for any complaints or last-minute requests from members and guests to maintain seamless satisfaction.

In addition to core duties, the Host will support colleagues by taking on additional tasks as assigned, following all company, club, and departmental policies. Upholding the highest level of professionalism, safety, and commitment to excellence is expected in every interaction. Continuous personal and professional development is encouraged, including maintaining certifications and seeking growth opportunities. Hosts should also be prepared to face physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting moderately heavy objects, and working in varied environmental conditions.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a prestigious environment that values teamwork, inclusivity, and member satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in hospitality or service industries is preferable. Those who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused settings and are passionate about delivering exceptional service will find this role rewarding and fulfilling. Joining Invited means becoming part of a respected leader in private club management that values its employees and promotes a culture of respect and excellence.
