While the host position is central, Uptown Kitchen welcomes applicants interested in a variety of roles within both the Front of House and Back of House teams. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a customer service role preferred

  • basic computer skills for managing reservations and waitlists

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • manage waitlists and seating arrangements
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and serving staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
  • assist with customer inquiries and concerns
  • support front of house and back of house staff as needed
  • uphold restaurant standards for guest service
