We are currently seeking a Host/Hostess to join our welcoming team at Denny's. This role plays a critical part in shaping the first and last impressions guests have when they enter and leave our restaurant. As the face of the restaurant, the Host or Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere by greeting guests with a friendly smile and engaging attitude. The ideal candidate will have a "Guests First" mindset, committed to exceeding customer expectations through attentive and personable service.

This position involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall positive dining experience. Hosts and Hostesses guide guests to their tables, manage seating arrangements efficiently, and ensure that special needs, such as high chairs or dietary accommodations, are met. Additionally, the role requires handling cashier duties like receiving payment and making correct change, suggesting new menu items from the limited-time offerings, and assisting with beverage service, including bold and signature coffees. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the hostess area and assisting other team members as needed are also essential duties.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $7.25 to $10.58 per hour, depending on location and experience.
