Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome all customers immediately upon arrival and verify number in their party
- Determine special needs such as high chairs or special menus
- Suggest new menu items from limited-time offerings
- Receive payment and make correct change in accordance with cash handling procedures
- Assist with beverage service including bold, signature, or flavored coffees
- Clean, complete side work, and organize supplies as needed
- Handle incoming telephone calls and take to-go orders
- Seat customers appropriately at tables or booths and introduce daily features
- Maintain hostess area stocked and clean including to-go items and bakery products
- Provide initial beverage suggestions and refills
- Assist service personnel in clearing and setting tables
- Resolve customer complaints and notify management
- Assist other team members willingly without being asked
- Provide total guest satisfaction
- Collect payment and inquire about food/service satisfaction and handle complaints or suggestions appropriately
