Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma required
- one year previous experience in cash handling required
- prior hospitality and restaurant experience preferred
- availability for varying shifts including 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 5pm-9pm
- ability to work on-call
- non-exempt employment status
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year previous experience in cash handling
- prior hospitality and restaurant experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with basic accounting and cash management
- customer service orientation
- ability to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Job Duties
- Meets and greets guests as they arrive
- offers choice of seating
- escorts guests to their tables and presents menus
- assists waitstaff with service when necessary
- helps bus and set tables
- sells and packages bakery items
- handles and processes guest payments accurately
- settles checks and tallies daily receipts
- prepares meal recap reports
- manages cash bank when assigned
- records and arranges reservations and special functions
- ascertains guest satisfaction and escalates issues to management
