Their new location, the Goose Island Pub at the Salt Shed, is situated at 1221 W. Blackhawk St., Chicago, IL 60642. This venue is part of an exciting waterfront dining and entertainment destination that combines a skyline-backed riverfront patio with Chicago's premier new music venue, hosting over 200 concerts and events annually. This vibrant setting offers guests a unique blend of craft beer, food, and entertainment, making it a landmark for locals and visitors alike.

The Goose Island Pub at the Salt Shed is searching for part-time Host/Food Runner/Bussers who are energetic, friendly, and guest-focused to join their dedicated team. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that the brewery is known for. As a part-time position, it offers flexibility and the chance to be part of a passionate team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a full service restaurant
  • Flexible availability including weekends
  • Current Food Service Sanitation certification
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Passion for craft beer and hospitality

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Escort guests to their tables efficiently
  • Deliver food orders to appropriate tables promptly
  • Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain dining flow
  • Assist servers with guest requests and needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house areas
  • Provide knowledgeable answers about menu items and brewery offerings
