Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
  • Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating in an organized and efficient manner
  • Communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests
  • Escort guests to tables and provide menus
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area
  • Learn and utilize the reservation system to check availability, manage walk-ins, and support smooth service flow
  • Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure balanced seating and smooth service flow
  • Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries as needed
  • Assist with takeout orders, guest requests, and front-of-house support as needed
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bar, kitchen, support staff and management to ensure smooth service
  • Uphold Harvest’s brand, service standards, hospitality culture and policies
  • Assist with opening and closing duties and other side work
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support restaurant operations
