Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 17 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • must be eligible to work in the United States
  • must be able to work different shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • must be able to work overtime as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
  • possess excellent customer service skills
  • must possess good verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful or busy times
  • must be able to work under stress and have excellent organizational skills
  • exercise sound judgment and possess good problem-solving skills
  • must be at least 17 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • answer telephone calls and take reservations
  • manage efficient and timely seating of guests according to table availability
  • provide menu and server information to guests once seated
  • manage special seating requests consistent with seating guidelines
  • relay guest seating information to servers and bus persons
  • oversee dining room activity to ensure seating efficiency
