Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
- No previous restaurant experience required
- able to work standing up to 6 hours
- able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of guests
- exceptional grooming habits
- passion for extreme hospitality
Job Duties
- Answer phone professionally according to restaurant standards
- warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
- open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
- know restaurant standards, table numbers, wait sections, menu, specials, and answer questions customers may have
- take reservations and enter on Resy according to standards
- record guest names and party number on wait list when seating is limited
- call out name and party number when tables become available
- provide guests with estimated waiting time
- accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
- seat guests based on preferences and balance customer flow
- re-work reservations and waiter sections to accommodate walk-ins and last-minute reservations
- inform management and staff of changes
- offer menu and server's name upon seating
- inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- relay messages to servers, bus, and management as needed
- help with bussing and drink service if time allows
- thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation as directed by manager or supervisor
