Currently, Pizzaioli is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Hosts/Cashiers on either a part-time or full-time basis. While previous experience as a cashier or host is preferred, it is not strictly required. The Host/Cashier at Pizzaioli serves as the first point of contact for guests, greeting and seating them while ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they enter the establishment. They are responsible for managing guest flow efficiently by organizing the floor plan and accurately quoting wait times when the restaurant is busy. This role also involves taking phone calls, answering questions about the menu and the restaurant, and occasionally assisting with to-go order fulfillment. Strong menu knowledge is essential to effectively communicate with guests and enhance their overall dining experience.

Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and hold the necessary Food Safety and Alcohol Safety Certifications. The position requires a high level of customer focus and interpersonal skills, complemented by the ability to manage multiple tasks and handle stress calmly under pressure. The schedule typically includes holidays, night shifts, and weekends, offering flexibility to accommodate various personal commitments. Compensation includes minimum wage plus tips, reflecting the importance of customer satisfaction and service quality in the role.
