Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service
availability to work evening shifts starting between 3 pm and 4 pm and ending between 11 pm and 12 am
ability to work weekends and holidays as required
strong communication skills
ability to stand for extended periods
reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

Previous hosting or serving experience at a fine dining restaurant
strong interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work evening shifts including weekends and holidays
knowledge of traditional Italian and contemporary American cuisines preferred
ability to manage seating charts and guest flow
customer service orientation
adaptability and teamwork

Job Duties

Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
seat guests and manage the seating chart
monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
perform opening and closing duties as needed
assist others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
ensure knowledge of menu
respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
assist fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
