As The Attic East expands its team, it is currently seeking enthusiastic and talented hosts to join its workforce. The role of a host is essential to the operation of the restaurant, acting as the first point of contact for guests. Hosts are responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring that every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. Working as a host at The Attic East involves managing the flow of the dining room efficiently and maintaining an organized seating chart to optimize guest satisfaction and restaurant operations. Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift over 40 pounds
  • must be able to work nights and weekends
  • be able to organize and seat a restaurant following a seating chart
  • willing to use technology and explain the process to guests

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle high-volume environments
  • familiarity with seating management technology is a plus
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • greet guests and manage the waitlist
  • organize and maintain the seating chart
  • seat guests promptly and courteously
  • communicate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize service flow
