Job Requirements
- must be able to lift over 40 pounds
- must be able to work nights and weekends
- be able to organize and seat a restaurant following a seating chart
- willing to use technology and explain the process to guests
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle high-volume environments
- familiarity with seating management technology is a plus
- strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- greet guests and manage the waitlist
- organize and maintain the seating chart
- seat guests promptly and courteously
- communicate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize service flow
- use technology to manage reservations and seating assignments
- explain the seating and reservation process to guests
- maintain cleanliness and order in the host station
