As a Host at Parry's, you engage with guests right from their arrival, welcoming them warmly, opening doors, and establishing an inviting environment. You will also assist the team by pre-bussing and resetting tables, stepping in wherever necessary to maintain service fluidity. Engaging guests with open-ended questions encourages conversation and helps identify first-time and returning visitors, promoting a personalized experience tailored to their expectations. Monitoring dining room activity and managing table turns ensure that guest wait times are minimized and seating efficiency is maximized. Moreover, the Host plays a key role in sharing important guest details with servers and communicating wait times and dining room flow to Service Managers for a seamless operation.

Additional responsibilities include sharing insights about the menu, highlighting signature dishes and specials, and encouraging sign-ups for the Parry's loyalty program. During busy periods, the Host supports to-go orders and manages incoming phone calls, contributing to an organized and attentive front-of-house environment.
