The available position is for a Host at HomeGrown, an essential role focused on ensuring guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they enter until their departure. A Host at HomeGrown plays a crucial part in creating a friendly, caring atmosphere that reflects the company’s dedication to hospitality. This position involves greeting customers warmly, managing seating arrangements, coordinating guest flow, and accommodating special needs such as highchairs, boosters, or disabilities. As the first and last point of contact for customers, the Host significantly influences the overall mood and satisfaction of guests.
In addition to guest relations, the Host also acts as a cashier, processing payments and ensuring smooth transactions. The role requires strong communication skills including reading, writing, and verbal interactions. Physical mobility is crucial as the Host will be expected to be active throughout the entire shift, including performing light cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and inviting environment. The ability to navigate the restaurant efficiently, lift items up to 25 pounds occasionally, and maintain high standards of cleanliness is important for success in this role.

Job Duties
- Greet guests enthusiastically as they arrive and depart
- Assist guests to their seats and manage guest flow
- Serve as cashier processing payments

- Manage the wait list when the restaurant is full
- Provide assistance to servers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness by wiping down tables, picking up debris, and wiping booth seats
