Job Requirements
- 0-2 years of related experience preferred
- knowledge of common restaurant practices and concepts
- ability to stand for the duration of the shift and walk for long periods
- ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary
- strong verbal communication skills
- visual engagement in various tasks including using and adjusting focus
- ability to navigate all areas of the restaurant, stock areas, and registers with ease
Job Qualifications
- Outstanding guest service skills
- ability to identify and solve problems as they arise
- excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- strong organizational skills and capacity to prioritize tasks
- basic understanding of cash handling and credit card processing
- familiarity with POS systems
Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests and guide them to their tables
- monitor the flow of the restaurant and seat guests efficiently
- provide menus and kid packs as needed
- maintain cleanliness in the lobby, bakery, and retail areas
- conduct restroom checks and ensure all areas are tidy
- engage with guests to enhance their dining experience
- effectively address and resolve guest complaints, involving management when necessary
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- assist in promoting new products and marketing initiatives
- sanitize and reset tables as required
- manage guest wait times and provide accurate wait estimates with the help of management
- perform additional duties as assigned
