Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic cash handling skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- One or more years' previous host/cashier experience is preferred
- Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to speak and understand English
Job Duties
- Sincerely greets and thanks each guest
- Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials
- Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately
- Seats guests in the proper order of arrival
- Accurate use of the dine-time seating system
- Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant
- Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods
- Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy
- Completes all side work requirements
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees
