Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience or equivalent
  • Accurate mathematic skills
  • Knowledge of menu and specials
  • Knowledge of restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers
  • Meet schedule requirements punctually
  • Warm, sincere, outgoing personality
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant
  • Ability to work amidst noise in confined crowded spaces
  • Ability to move chairs and transport high chairs or booster seats
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of full service restaurant experience or equivalent
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate reservations and wait time management
  • Knowledge of menu, specials, restaurant layout including table and station numbers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • Warm, sincere, and outgoing personality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely move throughout the restaurant

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests upon arrival
  • Answer phones and take reservation calls accurately
  • Maintain an accurate waitlist and manage guest flow efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
  • Sell and account for gift certificate sales
  • Coordinate with staff to accommodate special events and party needs
