Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • ability to work late night shifts potentially until 12 AM to 3 AM
  • works assigned scheduled shifts
  • ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
  • remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
  • satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
  • must be available to work weekends and holidays

  • Minimum of 18 years of age

  • alcohol awareness certification a plus
  • food handling certificate a plus

Job Duties

  • Live and embrace American Social vision and core values
  • report to work on time and prepared for the shift
  • follow all image and appearance standards
  • greet guests as they enter the restaurant
  • seat guests and maintain the waiting list
  • utilize seating system to ensure proper guest flow
  • communicate with servers and managers about table availability
  • inform Table Assistants and Bussers of tables needing resetting
  • ensure host area is stocked with adequate supplies
  • inspect restrooms and lobby floors for cleanliness
  • participate in pre-shift meetings
  • assist with rolling silverware and updating seating plans
  • maintain floors and clean windows
  • empty trash
  • answer telephone and provide directions and information
  • assist with stocking stations and bussing
  • support teamwork and follow the direction of managers
  • support and follow marketing initiatives
  • work cohesively with all Team Members
  • flexible to assist in other departments as requested
  • work well under pressure
