Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of six months experience in hospitality or similar role
Ability to remain standing and walking for extended periods up to eight hours
Capability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Clear verbal communication skills and attentive listening
Must present a clean, well-groomed appearance
Punctual and reliable
Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
Basic knowledge of local community and culture

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent
A minimum of 6 months in a hospitality operation
Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to eight hours
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees

Job Duties

Coordinates the operation and flow of the dining room during meal service periods through seating and placement of guests
Ensures guests are well communicated with and understand when they will be seated
Adjusts guest seating flow to balance customers among the various server sections
Graciously greets and seats guests upon arrival with a positive and welcoming attitude
Provides menus to guests
Manages special seating requests consistent with table availability and special seating requirements
Relays messages to servers, managers, and bartenders as appropriate
Assists with the duties of servers and server assistants as needed
Checks table settings for proper presentation and completeness and ensures server areas have proper supplies
