Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong problem-solving skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure
- team-oriented with a positive attitude
- basic knowledge of restaurant operations and reservation systems is a plus
Job Duties
- Create a positive and memorable guest experience by embracing the guest-obsessed culture
- multitask by clearing and cleaning tables, seating guests, answering phone calls, and taking reservations and takeout orders
- handle guest complaints by listening to their concerns, informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction
- manage guest seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant capacity
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service
- communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate guest needs
