The role of a Host at Cooper's Hawk is crucial as the initial point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Hosts are responsible for welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, managing reservations, seating, and guiding guests to their tables. Exceptional communication and teamwork within the Host team are fundamental to ensuring every guest has a seamless and positive experience. Beyond greeting and seating, Hosts engage with guests by providing knowledgeable answers about food, wine, and the venue, with a special emphasis on educating guests about the esteemed Barrel Reserve wine. This role also involves overseeing the dining room flow during service times to maintain efficiency while maximizing guest satisfaction. Hosts support the broader restaurant team by assisting servers and service assistants as needed, completing side work during slower periods, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their work area.

- must be at least 18 years of age
- individual that thrives in a team-based environment
- has a passion for guest service and hospitality-focused
- ability to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
- ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
- ability to perform essential functions to Cooper's Hawk standards with reasonable accommodation
- ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
- must be able to read, write and understand English
