Ancho & Agave is currently seeking enthusiastic Hosts to join their team and play a key role in delivering the ultimate dining experience. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and seating customers while maintaining a smooth flow in the dining area. This role requires a friendly and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment and can manage multiple tasks with professionalism and a positive attitude. Hosts will assist with reservations, communicate accurate wait times, and provide customers with initial menus and information, ensuring they feel valued and well-informed from the moment they enter the restaurant.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage starting between $15 and $17, based on experience, and comes with flexible scheduling, meal discounts, and opportunities for career growth within the company. Hosts will also take part in side work such as station setup and light restaurant maintenance to help support overall operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, stamina for extended periods on feet, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Job Duties

  • Greet customers and welcome them to the restaurant
  • Help guests with reservations and scheduling
  • Guide customers to their tables efficiently
  • Provide guests with menus and answer initial questions
  • Give accurate wait time estimates
  • Optimize seating to balance wait staff workload
  • Answer phones and manage reservation system
  • Perform side work including station setup and light maintenance
