Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. Among its luxury brands, EDITION Hotels stands out by combining the visionary approach of boutique hotelier Ian Schrager with Marriott's global reach and service excellence. EDITION provides guests with an innovative blend of sophistication, originality, design, and impeccable service, appealing to discerning travelers who seek both elegance and a unique personalized experience.

The Roof at The West Hollywood EDITION exemplifies this philosophy by offering a vibrant food and beverage experience in one of Los Angeles' most dynamic neighborhoods. This part-time, non-management position is located at 9040 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, California, and provides an hourly wage of $30.00-$31.00. The role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment where attention to detail, hospitality, and teamwork are paramount.

As a host at The Roof, you will be the welcoming face of the dining experience, responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring the dining area is tidy and inviting. You will guide guests through the dining process, assist with special seating needs, maintain updated menus, and oversee the proper setting of tables with appropriate utensils and napkins. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the day and supporting the smooth operation of the dining area are crucial aspects of this role.

Furthermore, the position requires adherence to all safety and company policies, effective communication with guests and team members, and a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the premium brand standards. While prior experience in the food and beverage industry is not mandatory, it is valued. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a high-caliber hospitality team where service extends beyond the norm, creating memorable guest experiences with authenticity and heart.

Working at The Roof within the West Hollywood EDITION means being part of a team that values cultural diversity, teamwork, and a passion for excellence. You will be supported in your professional growth and empowered to contribute to an environment that surprises and delights guests continuously. Join us to be part of a world-class hotel experience that pushes the boundaries of luxury hospitality, from the unique theatrical service to the camaraderie among associates. This is not just a job; it is a chance to be your best self while helping create unforgettable moments for our guests.
