The Host is entrusted with maintaining the high standards of service that define the Maverick brand. The associate will be responsible for taking the lead in guest interactions and hospitality, managing seating arrangements efficiently, and responding promptly and thoughtfully to guest requests and concerns. Moreover, the Host must be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues and must contribute to training and motivating team members to uphold the exemplary service standards.

This associate plays an essential role not just in guest interaction but also in internal operations, including reporting guest covers, monitoring guest traffic, and maintaining the safety and hygiene standards of the restaurant and its equipment. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience
  • two or four year degree preferred
  • prior experience in hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • interacts with fellow associates in a professional manner assisting other departments with necessary information
  • when assigned up sells to guests
  • always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
  • maintains constant awareness of safety issues and reports all safety incidents
  • ensures proper handling cleaning and sanitation of equipment flatware glassware and plateware
  • follows through on lost and found procedures respecting guest property
  • maintains a professional appearance and follows dress code standards
  • remains alert courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues at all times
