Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
Willingness to follow seating protocol and restaurant guidelines
Ability to assist guests and answer basic questions about menu and buffet offerings
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Ability to communicate effectively on the phone

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service or hospitality experience beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food service operations a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Positive attitude and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and offer a sincere personal invitation to return as guests leave
Offer assistance to guests who may need help
Be friendly and courteous on the phone
Seat guests in a prompt and efficient manner
Follow seating protocol and give buffet instructions to guests
Know and follow position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery
Maintain knowledge of the buffet for the day and have a full understanding of menu and prices
Maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host station and surrounding areas
Help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct
Follow local health department laws
Perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service and quality standards are met
