Job Description

You will be the face of the restaurant’s hospitality, guiding guests to their seats, quoting accurate wait times, and maintaining a clean and presentable lobby area. Additional duties may include phone management and completing side work to support the overall operation of the front-of-house team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a team-based environment and is committed to enhancing guest satisfaction through proactive and friendly service. Employment type is typically part-time or full-time with flexibility to accommodate shifts in the dining hours. This role is well suited for individuals aged 16 and older who are looking to gain valuable experience in customer service within the food service industry.

Job Requirements

  • Good verbal communication and phone etiquette
  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to stand at least 4 hours per shift
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • be a team player and work well with management and servers

Job Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience
  • highschool diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Greeting customers as soon as they walk in the door
  • guiding guests to their tables
  • taking reservations and answering the phone
  • quoting proper wait times
  • ensuring guests are seated in a manner that allows servers to properly take care of the guests needs
  • making sure the lobby stays clean and presentable
  • complete any side works prior to the end of your shift
  • any other duties deemed appropriate by your manager
