Job Description
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a well-established, full-service restaurant known for its laid-back atmosphere, uniquely quirky vibe, and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. Renowned for its signature burgers and world-famous steak fries, Red Robin combines great food with a passion for connection, fun, and generosity. As a popular high-volume restaurant, Red Robin prioritizes fostering a sense of belonging among its guests and employees alike. The company values diversity, embracing both similarities and differences to create an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone.
Red Robin's mission is to make dining fresh, fun, memorable, and always bring a smile to every guest's face. The team is known for its unbridled energy, magnetic personalities, and passion for having fun, making it an exciting place to work for those who thrive in dynamic and spirited environments. Red Robin also offers excellent opportunities for career growth, with many managers having started their journey as hourly team members, reflecting the company's commitment to promoting from within.
The Host position is a vital part of the Front of House service team, serving as the first point of contact for guests and responsible for providing a warm and welcoming impression. Hosts play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth dining room flow by greeting guests with a friendly demeanor, escorting them to their tables, and managing reservations and wait lists when needed. Strong customer service skills are essential to succeed in this role, as hosts set the tone for the entire dining experience.
Employment type for the Host role includes flexible work schedules, making it suitable for individuals seeking part-time or varied availability. The compensation range is competitive, with base pay ranging from $21.30 to $23.36 per hour, and total compensation potentially reaching between $21.57 and $26.96 per hour, including other incentives and bonuses.
Red Robin values its team members by offering a variety of additional benefits designed to enhance both work and personal life. These include a 50% discount on Red Robin food for employees and a 25% discount for their families, referral bonuses for recruiting new team members, and opportunities for additional compensation through various programs. The company also provides comprehensive health insurance options (including medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage) for employees aged 18 and older.
Retirement benefits are available to eligible employees who are 21 or older, have completed at least one year of service, and worked over 1,000 hours annually, including a 401k plan with company matching up to 4% of pay. Paid time off is offered based on hours worked, allowing team members to earn 0.0192 hours of paid leave for every hour worked after completing one year of service at 35 or more hours per week.
Red Robin consistently invites passionate, friendly individuals to join its team, aiming to make every dining moment special for both guests and employees. If you are at least 17 years old, have a positive attitude, enjoy interacting with people, and want to work in an environment that encourages growth and fun, the Host position at Red Robin may be the perfect opportunity for you.
