In addition to guest services, the Host is responsible for upholding strict sanitation standards, including cleaning and maintaining the front door, host desk, lobby area, and crowd control points. They also assist in learning the restaurant layout and server zone divisions to better aid in seating and service flow management. The position requires multitasking and teamwork skills, especially in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Additionally, Hosts learn about curbside and takeout processes, gaining valuable operational knowledge.
