Job Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States
able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
capable of standing and walking for extended periods
able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards
able to handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
willing to assist with additional duties as required

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
basic math skills for handling transactions
knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles is an asset
positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
familiarity with point of sale systems is a plus

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
coordinate dining room traffic flow and cleanliness
assist in training and development of new team members
manage take-out orders via phone or online ordering
handle cash and credit transactions accurately
ensure reservation, telephone, waiting list, and take-out procedures are followed
maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standards
monitor responsible sale and service of alcohol and report concerns to management
maintain frequent guest contact and high visibility in the dining room
ensure guests are served per Boston's high standards and involve management when negative experiences arise
manage the smooth and even flow of the dining room
sincerely thank every guest for their patronage
maintain high food and beverage knowledge and ensure menu items meet Boston's standards
follow standard recipes and preparation methods
stay informed and assist with promotions
uphold health and safety standards including cleanliness and food safety practices
adhere to cleaning schedules and checklists to maintain a safe dining environment
