Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards
  • able to handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
  • comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • willing to assist with additional duties as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles is an asset
  • positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • familiarity with point of sale systems is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
  • coordinate dining room traffic flow and cleanliness
  • assist in training and development of new team members
  • manage take-out orders via phone or online ordering
  • handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • ensure reservation, telephone, waiting list, and take-out procedures are followed
  • maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standards
  • monitor responsible sale and service of alcohol and report concerns to management
  • maintain frequent guest contact and high visibility in the dining room
  • ensure guests are served per Boston's high standards and involve management when negative experiences arise
  • manage the smooth and even flow of the dining room
  • sincerely thank every guest for their patronage
  • maintain high food and beverage knowledge and ensure menu items meet Boston's standards
  • follow standard recipes and preparation methods
  • stay informed and assist with promotions
  • uphold health and safety standards including cleanliness and food safety practices
  • adhere to cleaning schedules and checklists to maintain a safe dining environment
