Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-established family-owned seafood restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years. Starting from a single location with a vision to create a special connection to seafood and the coast, Red Lobster has grown into a network of more than 500 restaurants. Each of these locations reflects the founding passion for great food, warm hospitality, and fostering community connections. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it is a space where guests can enjoy their favorite meals and create memorable moments with friends and family. Red Lobster is deeply embedded in the communities it serves, welcoming guests as familiar faces and offering a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
As a Host at Red Lobster, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment they enter the restaurant until they leave. This position focuses on being the friendly face that welcomes guests with a smile, manages reservations and wait times accurately, and ensures every visit is seamless and enjoyable. The Host is responsible for guiding guests to their tables and providing special attention to create memorable dining experiences. The role requires a guest-focused mindset, teamwork, and a strong attention to detail to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment effectively.
Red Lobster values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including weekly pay and competitive wages, flexible scheduling, and affordable medical, dental, and vision options starting at less than $10 per week. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching after one year of service. Employees are also eligible for anniversary pay, discounted shift meals, and discounts as dining guests. The company fosters career growth by providing training and opportunities for advancement within the organization.
This role requires physical capabilities such as bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 30 pounds safely, and standing for extended periods—typically 8 to 12-hour shifts. Red Lobster is committed to making reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform all essential functions of the job. The company proudly maintains a diverse and inclusive workplace, providing equal employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a family-oriented, supportive, and fast-growing organization with exciting plans for the future. If you seek a dynamic work environment where you can grow professionally while delivering outstanding guest service, Red Lobster is the perfect place for you to build a rewarding career and be part of a longstanding brand dedicated to quality, community, and customer satisfaction.
