- confident knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, and food and wine knowledge
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledgeable about craft cocktails, beer, and food and wine
- certified food handler
- certified ABC Responsible Beverage Server
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
- manage wait lists and reservations efficiently
- maintain a clean and organized host station
- communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff
- provide knowledgeable recommendations on craft cocktails, beer, and food and wine pairings
- uphold food safety standards including verifying food handler certification
- ensure compliance with ABC Responsible Beverage Server certification requirements
- assist in managing guest inquiries and concerns proactively
