LongHorn Steakhouse operates several locations nationwide, each designed to provide not only delicious meals but also an inviting dining experience where guests feel appreciated from the moment they enter until they leave.
At LongHorn, the emphasis is on people—both guests and employees alike. This commitment is reflected in their approach to hiring and retaining motivated individuals who contribute to the restaurant's high standards in food and hospitality. Team members at LongHorn enjoy competitive pay that varies by location, plus tips, ensuring a rewarding compensation package that recognizes their hard work and dedication.
The Host role at LongHorn Steakhouse is pivotal in igniting the dining experience for every guest. Hosts serve as the first and last point of contact, setting the tone through their enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. The host is responsible for welcoming guests with a proud hello, managing the lobby experience efficiently, and expressing gratitude with a warm goodbye that leaves a lasting positive impression. This role requires individuals who are passionate about customer service and teamwork, ensuring that guests feel comfortable, attended to, and valued throughout their visit.
As a Host at LongHorn, you will take ownership of your responsibilities by enthusiastically greeting every guest as they arrive and thanking them sincerely upon departure. In addition to managing reservations and seating arrangements, hosts collaborate closely with other team members to maintain the dining area by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly, helping to create a smooth and enjoyable flow for guests. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and are committed to contributing positively to a team-oriented culture.
Working at LongHorn also comes with notable benefits that enhance your work-life balance and overall job satisfaction. Team members enjoy the flexibility to manage their schedules conveniently through the team member app, allowing shift swaps and easier planning. Competitive weekly pay rewards your commitment, and shift meals—including sides, salads, soups, and more—are provided to keep your energy levels up during work. Additional benefits include anniversary pay, holiday closures on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and special discounts on various products and services both inside and outside of the restaurant, such as cellphones and hotels. Joining LongHorn means becoming part of a supportive and passionate community dedicated to delivering legendary experiences for guests and team members alike.
