As a company deeply rooted in the community, Atlas Restaurant Group values both customer satisfaction and employee engagement, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
The Host position at Atlas Restaurant Group is a vital and front-facing role that sets the tone for the entire dining experience. Serving as the first point of contact for guests, the Host is responsible for presenting a positive and professional image of the establishment. This role involves greeting guests warmly, managing the flow and pace of seating arrangements, and maintaining an organized and welcoming host stand. The Host handles reservations, manages waitlists effectively, answers phone calls, and assists with to-go orders. More than just seating guests, the Host assesses guest needs to ensure an unforgettable dining experience, communicates special occasion details to the team, and upholds strict cleanliness and organization standards.
This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities but plays an integral part in supporting the workflow of servers, bartenders, and management staff. Candidates must be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent organizational and customer service skills. The Host must maintain flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may require food handler certification depending on local regulations. A fundamental understanding of cleanliness, sanitation standards, and basic mathematical skills are important. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems like Toast POS, Restaurant365, and reservation platforms such as OpenTable is essential.
Atlas Restaurant Group offers competitive hourly wages that vary by location, ranging from $13.00 to $25.00 per hour with different wage scales based on state employment. The company supports their team members with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k contributions, company-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, along with opportunities for professional growth through learning and development programs. Part-time and full-time employees alike have access to advancement opportunities and company discounts at Atlas properties. Joining Atlas Restaurant Group means becoming part of a passionate team committed to excellence in hospitality, employee growth, and community involvement. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a rewarding role in a collaborative, customer-focused environment with potential for career mobility.
