We are currently seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression by greeting and seating guests warmly and efficiently. This role is designed for someone who is personable, organized, and capable of multitasking within a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for managing the guest waiting list, adhering to seating rotation procedures, describing ongoing promotions, and taking initial beverage orders. They also assist service staff by handling beverage orders and table settings, ensuring that all guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience. The position demands a balance of interpersonal skills and operational knowledge, including safe cash handling and proficiency with point of sale systems.

Beyond customer interaction, the Host/Hostess is expected to maintain a clean and inviting foyer area, uphold Denny's brand standards, and complete all assigned side work such as deep cleaning tasks. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk throughout the shift, carry up to 30 pounds, and operate in a fast-moving, sometimes noisy environment. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as is the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $16.50 to $17.00 based on location and experience.
