Delilah Dallas, a new addition to The h.wood Group family, is set to open in January 2026 and is now seeking Hosts to join its team. The Host position is crucial, serving as the first friendly face guests encounter when arriving at the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and orchestrating the flow of diners to ensure a seamless and inviting start to their dining experience. This role is essential in setting the tone for exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional yet personable environment that reflects the brand's upscale reputation. Ideal candidates are personable, attentive, and passionate about hospitality, equipped with excellent communication skills. They must thrive in a team-focused setting, demonstrate initiative, and contribute positively to a guest-centered environment. Open availability is preferred, allowing the team to operate efficiently during peak and special event times. Job Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age
- must be authorized to work in the United States
- must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs

- Minimum 1 year experience as a host in a high-volume, fine dining setting

Job Duties
- Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner
- interact with guests and fellow staff members in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience
- greet and acknowledge VIPs in a professional manner
- control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant and bar
- anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
- maintain a proactive approach to solving any guest questions or problems
- direct guest to the appropriate waiting area and provide table updates
- bid farewell to guests, using their name, and encouraging them to return to the restaurant
- maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- assist in supervising food servers, bussers, and food runners as it relates to guest contact and table information
- oversee daily restaurant reservations and pre-assigns seating when necessary
- communicate with management regarding special orders, cake orders, special requests, and VIP requests
- shut down podium and reorganize host stand at end of a shift
- ensure that all lost items are returned to management
- act as a brand ambassador for the company
- ensure compliance of all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department
- perform all opening and closing duties as assigned
