Job Description
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a nationally recognized full-service restaurant chain known for its signature gourmet burgers, bottomless steak fries, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Established decades ago, Red Robin has grown into a beloved dining destination that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer experiences through upbeat and friendly service. The company values diversity and inclusivity, fostering a sense of belonging among its team members and guests alike. Red Robin is a high-volume restaurant concept that offers excellent growth opportunities within its corporate and restaurant operations. Many of the current managers began their careers as hourly team members, highlighting the brand's commitment to internal promotion and professional development. The company’s mission is clear: Make it fresh. Make it fun. Make it memorable. And above all, make every guest smile.
The Host role at Red Robin is a dynamic and important part of the Front of House service team, acting as the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for providing a warm and positive first impression by greeting guests with a friendly demeanor, managing seating, and coordinating reservations and waitlists when needed. This role is vital to maintaining the flow of guests through the dining room, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Hosts must have excellent communication skills, a cheerful attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This position requires the individual to be at least 17 years old and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse availability. In addition to a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.19 to $13.49, Hosts are eligible for various benefits including a substantial employee discount, referral bonuses, health and dental insurance, a 401k retirement plan with company match, and paid time off after meeting service criteria. Red Robin also offers an Employee Stock Purchase Program as an added incentive for long-term team members who work over 20 hours per week and have completed at least one year of service. Joining Red Robin as a Host means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to unbridled hospitality, growth opportunities, and fostering fun and memorable guest experiences.
