The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) is a renowned craft brewery based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since its founding in 2009, OMB has established itself as one of Charlotte’s premier destinations for beer lovers and aficionados. In 2024, OMB expanded its footprint by launching a second location in the Ballantyne neighborhood of South Charlotte. The role of Host at OMB Ballantyne is a vital position that ensures every guest has a welcoming and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Host acts as the first point of contact, setting the tone for an exceptional visit. The Host will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing the flow and seating in the restaurant for optimal table turnover, and maintaining communication with guests regarding wait times and other needs. This position also involves handling reservations, assisting with takeout and merchandise orders, and promoting OMB’s ongoing events and loyalty programs.

This role requires a positive and friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage stressful or busy situations with composure and professionalism. The Host works closely with the management, culinary, and service teams to provide a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
