As a host or hostess, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience by warmly greeting guests, managing the flow of the restaurant, and assisting both arriving and departing customers with professionalism and friendliness. Your role is central in ensuring that each visitor feels welcomed and taken care of from the moment they step through our doors.
Your daily responsibilities will include opening doors for guests, accommodating any special needs such as providing boosters, highchairs, or assistance for those with disabilities, and managing waitlists during peak times to keep the service smooth and efficient. You will assist servers by providing support as needed, maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and contribute to the restaurant’s ambiance by filling out feature boards and decorating with balloons. This position requires strong communication skills, mobility, and a keen attention to detail to help foster an inviting and efficient dining environment. Job Requirements
- must be 16 years or older
- reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
- mobility required during entire shift
- ability to carry objects such as highchairs up to 15 pounds multiple times a shift
- able to wipe down table tops, legs, pick up debris and wipe booth seats
- ability to stand and move for up to four hours
- able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and staff

Job Duties
- Open doors for guests arriving and departing
- accommodate any special needs of guests such as boosters, highchairs, disabilities
- manage the wait list when the restaurant is full
- provide guest assistance to servers as needed
- maintain a clean and organized work area and complete assigned cleaning tasks
- fill out the feature board and inflate balloons
