Job Description

We are currently hiring dedicated full-time or part-time Hosts or Hostesses to join the team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth restaurant operation and creating positive first and last impressions for all guests who walk through our doors. Hosts at P.F. Chang's play a key role in managing the flow of the restaurant, providing courteous customer service, and effectively handling reservations and seating arrangements. This position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $19.50 per hour, based on experience.

As a Host, you will be the welcoming face of P.F. Chang’s, directly engaging with guests to establish a comfortable and friendly environment. Whether answering phone calls, greeting guests upon arrival, or managing wait times with accurate estimates, your ability to communicate and deliver excellent service will enhance the guest’s overall experience. You will maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the front of house, including the host desk and lobby area, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and orderly.

This position requires learning the restaurant’s seating layout, understanding server assignments, and supporting food delivery processes. Hosts also assist with setting and clearing tables according to P.F. Chang’s specifications and may help manage curbside pickup and takeout expectations. You will also perform side-work duties assigned for each shift, supporting the overall team to provide a seamless service experience.

Job Duties

  • Interact courteously with guests, answer phones, greet guests, seat guests, make reservations, take food orders
  • Uphold high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control
  • Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food
  • Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications
  • Learn curbside process and takeout expectations
  • Conduct side-work as required for each shift
