Currently, Supreme Dumplings is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Host to join their dynamic team. This role is available for both part-time and full-time employment, providing flexibility to accommodate different schedules. As the first point of contact, the Host has a crucial role in setting the tone for guests’ dining experiences, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they enter the restaurant. The Host manages the flow of the dining room by greeting guests warmly, managing waitlists, and optimizing seating arrangements to maintain an efficient and pleasant environment. In addition to welcoming and seating guests, the Host is responsible for answering phone calls, assisting with reservations, and responding promptly to customer inquiries, helping to maintain smooth operations.

The ideal candidate for the Host position will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to multitask under pressure, and a positive attitude with a team-first mindset. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to handle tasks such as managing the seating chart and supporting other team members. Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome
  • Understand and accommodate guests’ dining needs
  • Manage the waitlist and accurately estimate wait times
  • Maintain and manage the seating chart to ensure an efficient flow
  • Monitor restaurant activity and adjust seating accordingly
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
  • Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or general questions
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Support team members with side work such as cleaning, stocking, and handling to-go orders
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to maintain smooth operations and a positive work environment
