Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must possess excellent customer relations sales and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner
  • Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit
  • Prior related experience preferred
  • Ability to manipulate the MICROS POS system and accurately input orders and post transactions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment manage time effectively and work well in a team environment
  • A desire to learn grow and a passion for progress in this career

Job Duties

  • Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform prepared to execute exceptional shifts
  • Open the door for guests
  • Keep lines from forming at the door
  • Answer incoming reservation calls
  • Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system
  • Keep abreast of all food and beverage venues and menus
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests
  • Using the table management system manage incoming reservations and venue floor
  • Bid all guests farewell and invite them back to Stanford's
  • Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager
