Job Requirements

Reliable transportation to and from work
Must possess excellent customer relations sales and communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner
Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit
Prior related experience preferred
Ability to manipulate the MICROS POS system and accurately input orders and post transactions
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment manage time effectively and work well in a team environment
A desire to learn grow and a passion for progress in this career

Job Duties

Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform prepared to execute exceptional shifts
Open the door for guests
Keep lines from forming at the door
Answer incoming reservation calls
Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system
Keep abreast of all food and beverage venues and menus
Perform other related duties as assigned
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests
Using the table management system manage incoming reservations and venue floor
Bid all guests farewell and invite them back to Stanford's
Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager
