Job Requirements

Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
Stand for long periods while on duty
Move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant
Work efficiently amidst noise in a confined, crowded space
Move chairs and transport high chairs and booster seats when necessary

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 1-year full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
Strong mathematic skills
Knowledge of menu and specials
Familiarity with restaurant layout including table and station numbers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to relate to guests warmly and professionally
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests upon arrival
Answer phones and take reservation calls
Maintain an accurate waitlist and quote wait times
Coordinate with service and bus staff to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Sell and account for gift certificate sales
Organize the host desk and waiting area throughout the shift
Communicate seating arrangements and restaurant flow effectively to staff and guests
