Job Requirements

Minimum one year full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
Accurate mathematic skills
Knowledge of menu and specials
Familiarity with restaurant layout including table and station numbers
Ability to meet schedule punctuality
Warm, sincere, and outgoing personality
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to move safely throughout restaurant areas
Comfortable working in noisy, crowded spaces
Ability to move chairs and transport high chairs or booster seats
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of full-service restaurant experience
Strong mathematical skills for managing seating and reservations
Familiarity with menu items and daily specials
Knowledge of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
Ability to handle busy and noisy environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
Manage telephone lines by taking reservation calls and messages
Maintain an accurate and organized waitlist when necessary
Balance seating to ensure servers receive a fair share of guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of host station and waiting areas
Accurately sell and account for gift certificates
Coordinate with bussing and service staff to meet dining room needs
