Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
  • Accurate mathematic skills
  • Knowledge of menu and specials
  • Familiarity with restaurant layout including table and station numbers
  • Ability to meet schedule punctuality
  • Warm, sincere, and outgoing personality
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to move safely throughout restaurant areas
  • Comfortable working in noisy, crowded spaces
  • Ability to move chairs and transport high chairs or booster seats
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of full-service restaurant experience
  • Strong mathematical skills for managing seating and reservations
  • Familiarity with menu items and daily specials
  • Knowledge of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
  • Ability to handle busy and noisy environments

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
  • Manage telephone lines by taking reservation calls and messages
  • Maintain an accurate and organized waitlist when necessary
  • Balance seating to ensure servers receive a fair share of guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of host station and waiting areas
  • Accurately sell and account for gift certificates
  • Coordinate with bussing and service staff to meet dining room needs
