Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of experience in a similar host role
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • capability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • friendly and approachable demeanor
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • at least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
  • a commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
  • ability to follow standards including steps of service, food safety and sanitation, and phone etiquette
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • problem-solving aptitude to turn tough situations into positive outcomes
  • proficiency with POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules technologies
  • flexible schedule and open availability

Job Duties

  • greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • coordinate communication between guests and the service team
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
  • handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • ensure adherence to service standards, including phone etiquette and food safety protocols
  • assist with opening and closing duties as required
