Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of experience in a similar host role
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- at least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
- a commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
- ability to follow standards including steps of service, food safety and sanitation, and phone etiquette
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- problem-solving aptitude to turn tough situations into positive outcomes
- proficiency with POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules technologies
- flexible schedule and open availability
Job Duties
- greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- coordinate communication between guests and the service team
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
- handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- ensure adherence to service standards, including phone etiquette and food safety protocols
- assist with opening and closing duties as required
