The Server position at Wings & Rings is central to achieving the restaurant's mission of exceptional service. Servers act as culinary ambassadors who bring the menu to life by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. This role requires a deep knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and food and beverage recommendations, to enhance guest satisfaction. Servers are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of order processing, coordinating effectively with kitchen staff, and ensuring timely delivery of all orders. Additionally, they maintain the dining environment by completing opening, closing, and side work duties efficiently. Accurate handling of sales transactions, including discounts, promotions, and tips, is crucial, requiring familiarity with the Point of Sale (POS) system and cash handling procedures. Job Requirements

  • Must meet state minimum age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to interact enthusiastically with the public and your colleagues
  • Capable of lifting/moving up to 20 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable walking, bending, twisting, and standing during shifts
  • Effective communication skills, including reading and understanding instruction
  • Willingness to work with cleaning solutions and maintain sanitation standards

  • Complete opening, closing, and side work tasks efficiently to maintain a well-organized dining environment
  • Accurately manage sales, discounts, promotions, and tips using the P.O.S. system following cash handling procedures
  • Foster positive relationships with guests and fellow team members to contribute to a vibrant workplace
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
