Job Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing 45 pounds or less without assistance
- Able to grasp, write, stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, bend, climb, listen, and have hearing and visual ability
- Capable of standing, sitting or walking for extended periods or entire work shifts
- Able to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Manual ability to use, carry, and operate all necessary equipment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience in a related leadership or supervisory role
- Food Handler Card and TABC Certification required or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
- Skilled at creating memorable guest experiences and handling complaints
- Demonstrated ability to manage servers, hosts, bartenders, and floor staff in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of labor management, scheduling, and cost control
- Familiarity with restaurant operating systems including Toast, R365, Triple Seat, Open Table, and Microsoft Office tools
Job Duties
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures including coordinating staff arrival and pre-shift briefings
- Coordinate communication between front and back of house to support efficient service and consistent standards
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise front of house staff while providing feedback, coaching, and motivation
- Enforce compliance with sanitation, health, and safety regulations
- Welcome guests, manage reservations, address concerns, and ensure memorable experiences
- Oversee seating and floor operations for efficiency
- Promote a positive, professional culture through clear communication, teamwork, and recognition of staff achievements
- Track front of house inventory and order supplies to prevent shortages and control costs
- Monitor labor, scheduling, and productivity to optimize team performance
