Job Description
Landing, founded in 2019, has rapidly become the largest flexible living network in the United States, operating across more than 35 markets and managing thousands of apartments. As a company, Landing prides itself on removing common rental hassles such as security deposits, making flexible living seamless and accessible for modern renters. With its innovative approach, Landing is dedicated to providing a frictionless and flexible rental experience that adapts to the fast-paced lives of its members. The company’s technology-driven platform enables efficient management of a diverse property portfolio while maintaining a high standard of customer service and operational excellence. Landing focuses on growth and agility, positioning itself at the forefront of the flexible housing industry.
The role available is a critical market segment ownership position based in Fort Myers, FL, where you will oversee a segment of Landing’s property portfolio. Your responsibility will encompass managing all aspects of member experience, property partnerships, housekeeping vendors, maintenance, and unit quality within this market. This means you are accountable not just for one property but for the entire market segment, balancing the operational workflow and guest satisfaction across multiple locations. The role demands oversight of reservations made through Landing’s platform and integration with online travel agency (OTA) partners such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
Your facility as a leader will be evidenced by building and nurturing relationships with property partners, resolving member issues promptly across various communication channels, and providing detailed market performance reporting to your Hub Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a background in hotel management, short-term rental, or high-volume hospitality settings, bringing practical experience in fast-moving, guest-focused environments. A hallmark of this job is its dynamic nature—the ability to make sound decisions despite incomplete information and to develop and refine operational processes and systems as the company grows.
Expect to work within core business hours from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, but flexibility is key. Being a guest-facing role, you will need to provide support during evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary, especially during peak business periods such as month-ends and busy check-in times. This flexibility is essential to maintaining a high level of service and ensuring member satisfaction.
Landing offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $55,000 to $75,000 base salary depending on experience, with the added potential for a performance-based bonus of up to 20% of the base salary. Additional benefits include an annual vehicle and cell phone stipend of $6,600, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, disability, mental health support, pet insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending or health savings account options. The company also supports retirement planning through a 401(k) plan and ImmediatePay access, alongside a generous paid time off policy and an annual travel perk of $750 credited for stays within Landing’s network.
Landing values diversity and inclusion and is committed to equal opportunity employment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military status, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
