  • 2-5 years of experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing leadership roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Organized, proactive, and able to problem-solve in real time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Build and maintain relationships with local community members, culinary schools, and other organizations acting as a liaison for Open Door Mission
  • Assist with meal preparation and menu planning
  • Monitor dining room environment and welcome desk area for safety risks and address issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, serving lines, beverage stations, and community restrooms
  • Assign, plan, and oversee the work of departmental staff, including Welcome Desk Associates
  • Coordinate staff schedules
  • Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise
