Job Description

Landing is a pioneering company that has established the largest flexible living network in the United States since its inception in 2019. Operating across more than 35 markets, Landing provides thousands of apartment options without requiring deposits or complicated procedures, making flexible living accessible and hassle-free. The company thrives on fast growth and adapts dynamically to the real-world environment, where priorities can shift rapidly and no two days are the same. By leveraging technology and strategic partnerships, Landing offers a modern approach to residential living that caters to the needs of mobile individuals and professionals alike.

Landing is actively seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Market Segment Owner in the Colorado Springs, CO market. This role holds significant responsibility as it involves owning a specific segment of Landing's property portfolio in this region. The Market Segment Owner will be tasked with managing various aspects of the properties, including member experience, relationships with property owners, housekeeping vendors, maintenance issues, and ensuring unit quality. This position requires overseeing reservations made through Landing's platform as well as through third-party online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Building and maintaining fruitful relationships with property partners, resolving member issues effectively across multiple communication channels, and reporting key performance metrics to the Hub Manager are essential components of this job.

Candidates with prior experience in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or managing a vacation rental portfolio will find familiarity with the pace and demands of this role. Unlike traditional property management, the Market Segment Owner at Landing manages an entire market segment instead of just a single property, and the processes involved are continuously evolving. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in a dynamic environment, can make well-informed decisions even with incomplete information, and has a strong focus on delivering excellent customer experiences. Furthermore, this role offers significant autonomy, providing the opportunity to build, refine, and implement operational systems within a fast-growth company setting.

This position requires working core business hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but also demands flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support guest-facing activities and peak periods when business volume surges. Compensation for this role ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience, with additional performance bonuses and an annual vehicle and cell phone stipend. Landing offers a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of medical, dental, vision, and more, along with stock options and retirement plans. The company values internal growth, promoting from within its Field Operations management team, and encourages candidates who are eager to expand their careers within a supportive and innovative environment. Landing is also proud to be an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of hiring and employment.
